Four Peaks Challenge

Drivers Information

Find out why your team drivers are so important

Team drivers are an integral part of each team, with responsibilities towards their teams. This event involves a lot of driving – a total round trip of about 800 miles, so be prepared to spend a lot of time in the car.

Each team must have two dedicated drivers per vehicle who may not take part in the hill walking part of the challenge (except for the last mountain Lugnaquilla).  This challenge involves a huge amount of driving.

And in order to complete it safely and within the recommended time frame, it is necessary to have two fully licensed competent drivers. These drivers do not climb the mountains, but are well rested to take their team members on to the next mountain.

Having two drivers means that the driving challenge can be shared. It is also safer and ensures that your team will always be in good hands while travelling between mountain locations.
