Four Peaks Challenge

Fundraising Ideas

There are so many ways you can raise funds – just pick one

There are lots of ways for you or your team to raise money for Focus Ireland. One of the most fun ways is to run an event, most teams run two to three fundraising events. Let your creativity run wild!

There are also five key things that you and your team can do to make fundraising simple.

  1. Use your On-line sponsorship page, send it to everybody you know and let them know what you are doing and why.
  2. Develop a strong email asking for support, before email out the link to your sponsorship page think about why you are doing the challenge and why you want to help, spend some time writing the email or use the attached.
  3. Use Facebook/Linked In/Twitter, put up a post to let people know what you are doing and why along with the link to your sponsorship page, you will be surprised at how news travels and at how generous people can be.
  4. Workplace, think about how your workplace can help. Could you organise a staff coffee morning or table quiz,  can you ask suppliers for support, will work give you some extra time off or match your fundraising?
  5. Church/Supermarket, ask your local church or supermarket if you can hold a church gate collection or bag pack and then rope in local family and friends to help you collect or pack bags.
