Education resources

Focus Ireland believes that education plays a key role in the prevention of homelessness and in increasing public awareness of the different issues associated with homelessness.

We provide a number of innovative resources aimed at both primary and secondary school students and teachers.

The core aims of our education programme are to:

  • Deliver accurate information to all
  • Raise awareness on the work of Focus Ireland
  • Inform young people in schools of the issues around leaving home
  • Gain support from young people by effectively highlighting the issue of homelessness
  • Educate young people on what they can do to help, especially in relation to campaigns and fundraising
  • Our Education programme is continually adapted and tailored to deliver the most up-to-date statistics, information and advice available to us.
