School and Corporate Takeover Challenge

School and Corporate Takeover Challenge

We can offer you a different Corporate Team Building Challenge

Can your team accept this challenge and put its retail, planning, marketing and selling skills to good use?

Does your organisation have what it takes to stock, run and deliver record sales at Beloved?

How does the takeover challenge work?

The takeover can take place around the Dublin area in Beloved Charity Boutique Malahide and Naas. And in Douglas, Co. Cork.

Prior to the event, your team is challenged to collect 100 bags of donations. Donations should include new, unworn and very gently worn ladies, gentleman and children’s clothing, jewellery, homeware, books and hard toys.

Before the challenge, all stock should be collected and delivered to the Beloved Charity Boutique.

Your team will be responsible for running the store, supported by the store manager.

How many people can volunteer at one time?

On the day of the challenge 6 to 8 people, but there are many different activities before the event that require more participants.

You have the option of doing one or two days takeover.

How much time do we need to set aside on the day of the challenge?

The challenge starts at 8:30 am and finish at 6.30 pm.

How will we help Focus Ireland?

On average, every bag of donated ladies and children’s clothing, accessories, homewares, gifts and jewellery will raise €35 for Focus Ireland. We are asking you to generate 100 bags of good quality stock; your stock donation will raise €3,500 which will help us rebuild the lives of 14 young people leaving the care of the state with no home to go to.

What do you need to provide?

  • A team who has the time and enthusiasm to get involved.
  • A team leader who will lead by example.
  • 100 bags of good quality stock.
  • A space to hold the donation stock.
  • A delivery van and driver to deliver stock.
  • Breakfast and lunch on the day of the challenge for the participants.

This challenge can be adapted to suit the needs of your team. For more information, please contact Beloved at beloved@focusireland.ie.
