Stay safe while helping others
The Next Step is Focus Ireland’s Virtual Marathon, supported by Horizon.
You have 30 days during April to walk, jog or run the 42.2km distance of a marathon and raise vital funds for families and children experiencing homelessness. It’s free to sign up and open to all fitness levels, so why not make your fitness count this April?
We are all being asked to stay at home to prevent the spread of Covid 19 yet over 10,000 people in Ireland don’t have a home. We are asking you to share a photo of your home comforts and donate to support those without a home.
To help protect those most vulnerable from the virus, we are asking people to take a selfie of their hair roots, nominate 3 people to do the same and text to donate.
The ‘Run 5, Donate 5, Nominate 5’ challenge calls on people to walk or run 5km, donate €5 to a frontline cause and nominate five friends to do the same.
Host your own virtual table quiz with friends and family through video chat! Focus Ireland can provide you with quiz questions.
Simply contact us for your questions, ask your participants to donate to Focus Ireland and enjoy your quiz night!
Are you a yoga or Pilates teacher or just like yoga? Why not host a virtual yoga class in aid of Focus Ireland!
No matter what the class is, why not hold a virtual one for those most in need.
Movie night in? Virtual girls night? Family games night? Work function? Dinner party?
The ideas are endless! Why not host a virtual night in with friends and family in aid of Focus Ireland.
Use the money you would have used to buy the popcorn, coffee round or taxi home to help those in need.
We are asking you to challenge yourself by completing a 30 day Fitness challenge in aid of Focus Ireland!
Our Fitness Challenge is a great way to stay fit and raise vital funds for some of the most vulnerable people in our society – those who are homeless.
