Volunteer to support Focus Ireland This Christmas
Every year, hundreds of choirs and singers take part in Carols for Focus Ireland. Volunteers are the lifeblood of these events, helping to plan and coordinate events and shaking buckets to raise money during the carols. If you’d like to volunteer this year, we’d love to hear from you.
Why take part in Christmas fundraising activities with Focus Ireland?
Raising money to help end homelessness in Ireland makes a real difference to people’s lives - there’s no better way to celebrate Christmas than helping those living in homelessness in Ireland, especially over 5,000 children currently facing homelessness.
Our team is here to help you raise money, whether it’s through one of our Christmas fundraising activities or an event you’re organising yourself. We’ll help by:
- Providing you with the information and support you need to take part this Christmas;
- Sending you everything you need to join or host an event including santa hats, posters, bunting, t-shirts, swimming hats and other promotional materials;
- Supporting your fundraising with collection buckets and boxes;
- Sharing your event images on social media (if you’d like to share them with us).
Every euro you raise will help to end homelessness in Ireland by:
- Funding vital support for people in moments of crisis;
- Providing practical services to help children and families living in emergency accommodation;
- Helping people to leave homelessness for good and rebuild their lives with dignity in the safety of home;
- Campaigning to end the housing crisis that’s forced so many people into homelessness.
- Step 1: Sign up for a Focus Ireland Christmas fundraising event or get in touch to tell us about your Christmas fundraiser.
- Step 2: Our events team will call or email you with more information about the event and all the details you need to take part or run your own fundraising.
- Step 3: After the event, you can pay in the money raised online, by bank transfer or by delivering collection buckets directly to us.
