Terms and conditions for Focus Ireland

By accessing or using the Focus Ireland website or by making a job application via the site (and in this regard you are referred in particular to the section below headed “Specific Terms Relating To Job Applications”), you acknowledge and agree to the disclaimers, terms and conditions (the “Terms”) set forth below.

Terms and conditions of using the site

Reference to “we”, “our” and “us”, etc. are references to (i) Focus Ireland, a company limited by guarantee, registered in Ireland (Company number 106149) which has been granted Charitable Status (charity number CHY 7220), with its registered office at 9-12 High Street, Dublin 8, Ireland; We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms at any time.  You should review the Terms periodically as, by using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.  These Terms also contain specific terms governing any job applications made via this Site.  All applicants should review these Terms in full before submitting their applications.  If you are dissatisfied with any portion of the Site, or with any of these Terms, your sole and exclusive remedy is the discontinuation of your use of this Site.

Acceptable use of the site

Any information contained on the Site is for personal use only and may not be sold or distributed in any form.  We reserve the right to suspend the use of the Site generally or to block your access to any part of the Site and/or to suspend or terminate your rights to use the Site or any part of it if we suspect misuse. However, no right, title, or interest in any such materials will be granted or transferred to you as a result of any permitted use of such materials. Specific terms relating to applications

This section sets out the terms and conditions for job applicants who are considering making an application to Focus Ireland via the Site. Our privacy statement covers the general data protection issues for people using the www.focusireland.ie and work with us website and should be read in conjunction with these Terms. Job applications are made through this Site to Focus Ireland.  The Focus Ireland department to which you make an application will control and use the personal information that you submit in your application and take responsibility for the protection of that information.  The information that you submit through this Site will be used to assess your suitability for employment with Focus Ireland and may be used for the purpose of contacting referees, carrying out appropriate checks, human resources administration and training purposes.  All job applications sent through this site are sent to Focus Ireland HR Dept in the High Street office. Information that you submit through this Site will not be transferred outside of the European Economic Area.  Focus Ireland has security procedures in place and will endeavour to protect your data at all times.  Personal information submitted as part of a job application with Focus Ireland will not generally be shared with third parties without your consent.  Focus Ireland’s service providers and agents will have access to your personal information.  Appropriate security procedures are in place to protect your information. Focus Ireland may keep your information for a reasonable period in accordance with relevant legislation if your application is unsuccessful.  If you wish you have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold on you in order to correct any inaccuracies, Focus Ireland reserves the right to charge a fee for this information.  You may inform us of any changes in your personal information, and in accordance with our obligations under data protection legislation, we will update or delete your personal information accordingly.

Additional terms

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Focus Ireland with respect to your access and use of the Site and any third-party website accessed through the Site.  If any of these Terms shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable form these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

Governing law

The Site has been designed and these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland.  Any dispute arising out of the access or use of the Site will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
