Run A Marathon in Support of Focus Ireland

Whether you want to run a full or half marathon or a 10k race, there are plenty of challenges for you to choose from. Whatever your level, you can take part to help end homelessness in Ireland.

Join the Focus Ireland team for some of the biggest marathons in the world. 

By running a marathon, half marathon or 10k challenge with Focus Ireland, you’ll get support with your training and fundraising so that your challenge makes a real difference to people living in homelessness.

There are two ways you can join us to run a marathon, half marathon or 10k race: 

1 . Apply for one of our limited charity places 

 We have a limited number of charity spots for the events below. Follow the link for your chosen event to get in touch with us and get a place before they’re gone. 

2 . Use your own place to support Focus Ireland 

 If you have your own place for a marathon, half-marathon or any running event and would like to run it to raise money for Focus Ireland please get in touch to let us know. We’ll get your Marathon Pack, including Focus Ireland running vest and other goodies, in the post to you.

Paris Marathon

This marathon takes you on a journey through the heart of one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Cork City Marathon

The Cork City Marathon is known for its heart, its energy, and the incredible spirit of the Rebel County.

Dublin City Marathon

From the city centre buzz to the cheering communities that line the route, Dublin delivers a marathon experience full of pride, resilience, and spirit.

When: 25 October 2026

Tokyo Marathon 2027

The Tokyo marathon is one of the most iconic in the world. Join the Focus Ireland team to run in this incredible city by applying for one of our limited charity spots.

Half Marathons

Dublin City Half Marathon

The Dublin City Half-Marathon starts in the heart of Dublin City on O’Connell Street, with an urban course that will take runners out to the north of the city, finishing back in the city centre.

VHI Mini Marathon

Run the iconic VHI Women’s Mini Marathon – a day of colour, energy, community, and incredible strength. Whether you walk, jog, or run, you’ll be part of something truly powerful.

Cork City Half Marathon

The Cork City Half Marathon is a fast, flat race along Cork’s iconic Marina and the banks of the River Lee.

Why run for Focus Ireland?

You’ll join an amazing team who’ll support you as you get fit and fundraise, including:

Every euro you raise will help to end homelessness in Ireland by: 

  • Funding vital support for people in moments of crisis; 
  • Providing practical services to help children and families living in emergency accommodation; 
  • Helping people to leave homelessness for good and rebuild their lives with dignity in the safety of home; 
  • Campaigning to end the housing crisis that’s forced so many people into homelessness.

Organise your own event

If you can’t take part in an official marathon, half-marathon or other running event you can still take on a challenge and raise money to help end homelessness in Ireland.
