Organise your Christmas Jumper Day to celebrate the festive season
It’s easy to host a Christmas Jumper Day this festive season. You can organise your celebration at work, school or college or even at your weekly coffee catch up. All you need to do is ask everyone to donate to wear their Christmas jumper.
If you want to go a step further, you can turn it into an event by asking people to join you for a challenge like a walk or a run while wearing their Christmas Jumper.
By taking part in Christmas Jumper Day for Focus Ireland you’re raising money to help end homelessness in Ireland.
And our team is here to help you every step of the way by:
- Providing individual support to make sure you have everything you need for your event;
- Sending you fundraising tips and ideas to make your Christmas Jumper Day great;
- Making it easy for you to set up your own iDonate fundraising page to raise money online;
- Sharing your event on social media – tag Focus Ireland and use the #ChristmasJumperDay hashtag
Every euro you raise will help to end homelessness in Ireland by:
- Funding vital support for people in moments of crisis;
- Providing practical services to help children and families living in emergency accommodation;
- Helping people to leave homelessness for good and rebuild their lives with dignity in the safety of home;
- Campaigning to end the housing crisis that’s forced so many people into homelessness.
Step 1: Sign up to tell us about your planned Christmas Jumper Day event.
Step 2: Our events team will call or email you to support you with planning your event. We’ll help you set up your fundraising page on iDonate and send you Santa hats and other materials for your event.
Step 3: If you choose to use iDonate, you can raise money online and it will be sent directly to Focus Ireland’s Christmas Jumper Day campaign. You can also pay in money collected in person by bank transfer or by delivering collection buckets directly to us.
